The Arctic Knight Alliance is a serious gaming
organization. We expect those who join us to be just as serious about
improving their skills, showing up for training, and generally keeping
our good name out of the mud; keep in mind the name of the
organization. As
part of our commitment to each other we maintain respect for all
members, at all times. Part of this respect is shown by addressing
each other as "Brother" or "Sister". We are all here to have an
organized good time, and no one is responsible for babysitting anyone
else. Either you can abide by this or this is not the organization for
you.
One of the main principals of the Organization is that an individual needs to
have priorities in life, in all things. This being the case we feel
that those priorities should be; God, Family, Work and Fun. As the
organization revolves around game playing, we obviously classify this as Fun.
As such, each member is to ensure that they take care of Real Life (RL)
issues so that when they come to have fun, they are not preoccupied
with other things. A member needs to be focused on what he/ she is
doing whether in training, participating in combat drops, or just
having a good time. If they are thinking about something other than
having fun, then there is no way that they can fully participate in
what the Organization is doing.
The Arctic Knight Alliance is dedicated to the simple principle of
providing an environment where members can gather and have the type of
constructive, organized game playing that is becoming more and more
common with the advent of Online gaming. Most of our members are over
the age of 25. This does not mean that we do not recruit younger
members, however all prospective members need to understand that this
is a time commitment that they are making. We are serious about
competing in League play, and dong the very best we can to win. To
achieve this goal we spend about one to two hours a night, three
nights a week, practicing and improving our gaming skills for the game
we are playing.
We are a weekday organization. This means that we get together Monday
thru Thursday each week to train, take part in league play, generally
learn from each other, and have fun. We expect that each member, once
they have been recruited, are prepared to attend on this type of
schedule. Keep in mind that with the way the organization is set up,
you will only be required to show up three nights a week, which three
nights will be assigned if you are recruited. We also understand that
if you can't show up because of RL issues, then you need to deal with
those issues, no questions asked. We do however ask that you email us
and let us know that you won't be showing up.
If this sounds like the type of hardcore gaming organization that you
wish to become a part of then please contact us. We are always looking
for new friends who are ready to step up their gaming to that next
level and join us in having a great time. We hope to hear form you
very soon!
